Hi there, sorry for our lack of blogging, Team Bombshell has been getting settled in our new digs!
So what have we been up too? Glad you asked! We opened our doors the first week of January and have been welcoming our 2014 and 2015 Brides, Moms, and Maids!

Our new store boasts SIX fitting rooms, FOUR designated bridal areas, and a divided space dedicated specifically to our brides and their shopping experience.

We have also been busy attending bridal shows all over the state! We have been to Troy, Auburn Hills, and Mt. Pleasant! We are still looking forward to shows in Clinton Twp, Ann Arbor, and Plymouth. If you happen to be heading out to the show make sure to stop by and say hello!

Starting next month we will get back to our series on “What to Expect when shopping”, if you are just checking out our blog for the first time make sure to read “Fit and Fancy” our first blog in the series which discusses different fits. Next week’s topic is timing for appointments, ordering, and other important items.

Thanks for reading!

Bridal Shows

Bridal shows are the best way for you, the busy bride to plan your wedding with ease! Shows are an exciting, fun, festive way to meet different necessary vendors. These vendors are there for you, they are there to talk with you, give you information and help you find what services fit your wedding.  Shows can also be a bit overwhelming, as a salon we see this happen a lot! I called the shop and asked about my size, when she said "We have that size", I almost cried" she said. The bride and new mom came to the shop she had little less than a month until her wedding. Emily was so worried about finding a gown for her special day. " We picked out 4 dresses an started trying them on, I wasn't feeling like any of them was "The one". My consultant  wasn't rushful or rude about me not liking them. She then went to the back and brought out a dress in blue that could be ordered in white, I LOVED IT!!!!" The gown Emily chose was ready for her wedding and she looked stunning! " The day of my wedding I felt like a million dollars, everyone loved my dress. When I got to my husband at the alter he was in awe, mouth open and all. After the wedding he told me that I took his breath away, that he fell...

12 Things Brides Forget Before Their Wedding Day

BRING EXTRA SHOES! Those gorgeous heels you bought? Yeah, by the time the reception rolls around your feet will be killing you! Bring an extra pair of flats so you can keep dancing and socializing the night away. You’ll thank me later. Decide what to do with the gifts. This is often forgotten during the wedding planning process, but still pretty important thing to remember! Make sure you assign someone to pack up the gifts and tell them where to take them. Especially if you are leaving on your honeymoon that night! You don’t want to decide what to do with them after you have had a few glasses of champagne. ;) Assign someone responsible to take care of the marriage license! Your officiant will take two copies and one is your souvenir. (Yes, you will sign three of them.) Make sure you don’t ask your cousin who has had 4 possibly 6 drinks that night already. A pretty hanger for your wedding dress. Since your dress will be photographed you want to make s...
