Our wedding theme was paper airplanes because of a short film my husband and I fell in love with. We also were never huge fans of flowers being the focal point, so using paper was fun and unique to us. It also made wedding planning easier not having to handle real flowers so we could get things done months in advance.  It was in the fall so we did use mini pumpkins for escort cards, and we drilled wholes in big pumpkins and put changing LED lights in them. We had paper airplanes on our cake, my necklace, and even on our bouquets and boutonnieres! How Do I Know It’s My Dress? Most people who know me know that it took me a very, very, very, very, VERY long time to find my dress for my wedding. You think that owning a bridal shop would be beneficial, and I would know the minute I got engaged what dress I was going to wear. LIES.
