 Shopping anxiety when selecting your gown can be frustrating to deal with, we think it's important to break down the shopping experience so you know what to expect! For the next few weeks we will feature tips, tricks, and insight to enhance your appointment! Our first topic? THE FIT! Many of our brides come in for their appointment and ask "What would look good on me?" well, it depends on what look you prefer! To break it down further lets talk about silhouettes and what body type they are best for. The A- Line fit A-line fit typically has a more fitted top and flows in a fuller skirt to the floor. The a-line gets its name because the fit seems to form a capital A. It is also important to know that modified A-line gowns offer the fit of an A-line with the features of other silhouettes! Have you been following our contest on Facebook?  We offered 12 lucky brides the chance to win their gown with us, they just had to email us a picture of themselves and their fiance along with their story. We ended up with 14 entries instead of 12, because the final 3 entries showed up in our inbox at the exact same minute, so we figured fate wanted 14 instead of 12.  We have had the pictures posted on Facebook for just over a week and the votes have been rolling in. The girls are in the running for: First Place; $2000 towards the purchase of your gown Second Place: $500 towards the purchase of your gown Third Place: $250 towards the purchase of your gown 1 "like" = 1 Vote. Mr. & Mrs. Sean and Kirah Stockard 11/3/2013 This past Sunday we had the honor of celebrating the wedding of Kirah and Sean. Kirah should look familiar, not only is she a Bombshell Bride, she one of our talented consultants. She looked stunning in her gown which fit her beautifully. Her dress sparkled in the vintage ball room at the The Lafayette Grande in Pontiac. Kirah's Dress Amy, co-owner of Bombshell and owner of Amy Pruder Photography was at the wedding and captured beautiful images of the Bride and Groom, along with their family and friends. The Bombshell team was out in force to support Kirah and Sean's new journey. The Bombshell team is excited for Saturday, it’s the Michigan VS. Michigan State game! Game time is 3:30pm in East Lansing. We will be sporting our team swag, if you’re coming in this Saturday wear your team colors! Even if you’re not coming for an appointment, stop by to take part in our game day raffle! The Game Day Raffle will be for a bag of Halloween goodies! (Did we mention that we love holidays?) We will have two containers, one for Michigan and one for State, enter your name in the container of who you think is going to win. We will pull a name from the winning teams’ container!
