Win Your Dream Dress Contest

Have you been following our contest on Facebook?

We offered 12 lucky brides the chance to win their gown with us, they just had to email us a picture of themselves and their fiance along with their story. We ended up with 14 entries instead of 12, because the final 3 entries showed up in our inbox at the exact same minute, so we figured fate wanted 14 instead of 12.

We have had the pictures posted on Facebook for just over a week and the votes have been rolling in. The girls are in the running for:
First Place; $2000 towards the purchase of your gown
Second Place: $500 towards the purchase of your gown
Third Place: $250 towards the purchase of your gown
1 "like" = 1 Vote.
Rules:
1. You must like Bombshell Bridal Boutique on Facebook
2. You must vote by hitting like on the photo of your choice. Comments are great, but they do not count as votes!
3. Be sure to tag you and your hubby to be in your photo, and be sure to share with your friends!
4. Voting Ends 6pm on Christmas Eve!

Bridal Shows

Bridal shows are the best way for you, the busy bride to plan your wedding with ease! Shows are an exciting, fun, festive way to meet different necessary vendors. These vendors are there for you, they are there to talk with you, give you information and help you find what services fit your wedding.  Shows can also be a bit overwhelming, as a salon we see this happen a lot! Make sure to plan ahead and are ready for day, here are some tips from us.  Bring important people, groom included. Don't invite your entire bridal party, save that for other activities, this is a chance for you to really figure out what you need and want to have at your wedding.  Make a list of the products and service you need most, visit them first.  Ask for a map of the show, you can see where specific vendors are placed and it will help you navigate.  Print out your name, wedding date, and contact info on labels, this saves a lot of time for entries at vendor tables.  ...

12 Things Brides Forget Before Their Wedding Day

BRING EXTRA SHOES! Those gorgeous heels you bought? Yeah, by the time the reception rolls around your feet will be killing you! Bring an extra pair of flats so you can keep dancing and socializing the night away. You’ll thank me later. Decide what to do with the gifts. This is often forgotten during the wedding planning process, but still pretty important thing to remember! Make sure you assign someone to pack up the gifts and tell them where to take them. Especially if you are leaving on your honeymoon that night! You don’t want to decide what to do with them after you have had a few glasses of champagne. ;) Assign someone responsible to take care of the marriage license! Your officiant will take two copies and one is your souvenir. (Yes, you will sign three of them.) Make sure you don’t ask your cousin who has had 4 possibly 6 drinks that night already. A pretty hanger for your wedding dress. Since your dress will be photographed you want to make s...

#WeddingWednesday Taara + Malcolm 9-5-15

Wait until you see how beautiful Taara is! Their wedding was BEAUTIFUL! See what she had to say about her big day: "Our ceremony took place at Rock of  Ages Christian Ministries.   Our ceremony was short and sweet and only lasted about 20 minutes. My dad walked me down the aisle as my only brother sang to me.  I had my 2 favorite guys share this special moment with me and that meant everything to me. My husband and I exchanged vows and demonstrated us becoming one by taking part in a wine communion ceremony.  Once that was all said and done, we were introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Hatcher. My fiancé thought that I was the most beautiful bride in the world. He absolutely loved my dress. I felt like a princess in my wedding dress. I never in a million years though that I could feel that way ! Being plus size can put a lot of doubt in your mind when it comes to finding that perfect dress for on...
