Megan's #WeddingWednesday

Congratulations to Megan and her husband CJ!
The newlyweds were married April 12th, “it was the greatest day we could have asked for” Megan said.
Megan went into detail about her planning process saying “My dress was by far my favorite thing of the entire process, it was the last of 10 dresses I tried on and after adding some accessories and bling it was perfect. Cj and I were engaged just over 3 1/2 years before finally getting married. Finding my dress kick started our planning and in 10 months our wedding was done and paid for.”
Megan’s bridesmaids also found their dresses at Bombshell, “and each and every experience was phenomenal, I want to do this all over so I can come back again”!
Megan took wedding planning head on, “we went with a classy/vintage feel, with our colors being navy, mint green and gray. I went diy with Pinterest and Etsy becoming my best friends. I made all the centerpieces (coffee filter bouquets that NOBODY believed were fake, let alone coffee filters), signage and in lieu of guest favors we made donations to our favorite charities.”
“Overall our day was more than we could have asked for; the weather was amazing, the day went off without a hitch!”
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Greca!

Bridal Shows

Bridal shows are the best way for you, the busy bride to plan your wedding with ease! Shows are an exciting, fun, festive way to meet different necessary vendors. These vendors are there for you, they are there to talk with you, give you information and help you find what services fit your wedding.  Shows can also be a bit overwhelming, as a salon we see this happen a lot! Make sure to plan ahead and are ready for day, here are some tips from us.  Bring important people, groom included. Don't invite your entire bridal party, save that for other activities, this is a chance for you to really figure out what you need and want to have at your wedding.  Make a list of the products and service you need most, visit them first.  Ask for a map of the show, you can see where specific vendors are placed and it will help you navigate.  Print out your name, wedding date, and contact info on labels, this saves a lot of time for entries at vendor tables.  ...

12 Things Brides Forget Before Their Wedding Day

BRING EXTRA SHOES! Those gorgeous heels you bought? Yeah, by the time the reception rolls around your feet will be killing you! Bring an extra pair of flats so you can keep dancing and socializing the night away. You’ll thank me later. Decide what to do with the gifts. This is often forgotten during the wedding planning process, but still pretty important thing to remember! Make sure you assign someone to pack up the gifts and tell them where to take them. Especially if you are leaving on your honeymoon that night! You don’t want to decide what to do with them after you have had a few glasses of champagne. ;) Assign someone responsible to take care of the marriage license! Your officiant will take two copies and one is your souvenir. (Yes, you will sign three of them.) Make sure you don’t ask your cousin who has had 4 possibly 6 drinks that night already. A pretty hanger for your wedding dress. Since your dress will be photographed you want to make s...

#WeddingWednesday Taara + Malcolm 9-5-15

Wait until you see how beautiful Taara is! Their wedding was BEAUTIFUL! See what she had to say about her big day: "Our ceremony took place at Rock of  Ages Christian Ministries.   Our ceremony was short and sweet and only lasted about 20 minutes. My dad walked me down the aisle as my only brother sang to me.  I had my 2 favorite guys share this special moment with me and that meant everything to me. My husband and I exchanged vows and demonstrated us becoming one by taking part in a wine communion ceremony.  Once that was all said and done, we were introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Hatcher. My fiancé thought that I was the most beautiful bride in the world. He absolutely loved my dress. I felt like a princess in my wedding dress. I never in a million years though that I could feel that way ! Being plus size can put a lot of doubt in your mind when it comes to finding that perfect dress for on...
