#WeddingWednesday Kristen + Chris 6-20-15

Kristen and Chris were married on June 20th 2015 and here is what she had to said about their big day!


“Chris and I were married on June 20, 2015. It was definitely a day to remember! We are major Michigan Wolverine fans, so our colors were maize/yellow and blue. We were married at the First United Methodist Church in Saline, Michigan. Hands down, the best part of the day was saying our vows to each other, which (of course) included a portion about being devoted Michigan fans until the end!

Our awesome photographer, Jess (M & J Photography), was fantastic and took some amazingly gorgeous pictures.
We took pictures all around downtown Ann Arbor, which was so fun…

Our reception was at the Meeting Grand Ballroom in Plymouth and it was absolutely breathtaking…

Chris and I are HUGE ice cream fans, so we decided instead of cake, we would have an ice cream bar and it went over SO well…

Our wedding was absolutely amazing and something we will cherish forever. To all of you soon-to-be brides out there, I offer you a couple words of wisdom:
  1. If you have curves, do not mess with any other store BUT Bombshell Bridal. The entire team is amazing. I had the honor of working with Debra and I went from being insanely nervous and hesitant about the wedding dress shopping experience to wanting to do it over and over again. The selection of dresses they have is amazing and I was literally able to try on every dress I wanted to with no problems!

  1. This is your wedding and no one else’s. Do what you and your soon-to-be-hubby want to do! Suggestions and advice are always appreciated, but make sure you make yourself 100% happy.


  1. Before the doors open and you walk down the aisle to your man, take a deep breath, smile, and know that once you get to your man, it is just the two of you…the world becomes small and quiet…and the intense amount of love in the room is AMAZING.
  2. Enjoy the day. Relax and soak in the special moments with your NEW HUSBAND!

Emily's #WeddingWednesday

Emily came to Bombshell on a recommendation from a friend "I was having a horrible time finding a dress in my size. I called the shop and asked about my size, when she said "We have that size", I almost cried" she said. The bride and new mom came to the shop she had little less than a month until her wedding. Emily was so worried about finding a gown for her special day. " We picked out 4 dresses an started trying them on, I wasn't feeling like any of them was "The one". Bombshell Secrets!

First Bombshell was "All about that bass", now we don't if the world knows what our secrets are!! We would like to introduce you to our new music video! "Secrets" by Mary Lambert. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO! The Bombshell team had BLAST making this video, it even featured some of our brides! This song hit us all a different way but what they lyrics say are so true to who we are as a team. We have all struggled at one time or another with our body image, how people see us, and our "secrets". This was our way spreading the message that EVERY body is beautiful and not to hide who you are. We worked with some talented people to create this video! Complete Video Solutions shot the footage and used some pretty amazing techniques to create a really cool look!
