Don’t be THAT Customer..

Enjoy this weeks #MandaMonday blog post by our owner! As soon as people hear that I own a bridal shop, the first thing they ask is something like “Do you get a lot of bridezillas?” or “Are brides’ families really mean like on TV?” or “That must be full of drama!” It’s true that this business has its fair share of drama, BUT, the good far outweighs the bad, and the vast majority of our brides are amazing women that I’m honored to have helped. We’ve grown close to many of our brides throughout their buying experience with us, and we attend many weddings as guests and stay in touch with many of our brides long after their weddings. If you’ve had an appointment with us, you know that we are a very customer service focused business. We do our best to be friendly and accommodating while making the bride and her guests comfortable during their visit. There are however things that I will not tolerate: 1. Negative/Body disparaging comments by anyone, including the bride. We only

Things we want our brides to know.

We’re starting a new blog series called, “What We Wish Our Brides Knew” and it will post each Monday. This series will be written by owner Amanda and will touch on a variety of subjects that we want our brides to know, or at least think about during their buying experience. It may not always be pretty, but it will always be honest. Enjoy! “What we wish our brides knew”  Your money matters here What I want all of our brides to know, is that your purchase with us makes a difference. Your money MATTERS here. In fact, it means the world to us, and when we thank you for your business, we sincerely mean it. My shop employs 7 amazing women. Each one of them has a family that depends on their paycheck, just like all of you. My business is not publicly traded, and I as the owner, don’t have a mansion on the water. In fact, I live in a small condo and pay a car payment every month. We’re just regular people. Amy is slowly outfitting the house she and her fiance just bought. Am

Jessica's #WeddingWednesday

Congratulations to Jessica and David Marcou, this weeks #WeddingWednesday couple! Jessica and David were married June 28th after a year of planning.  "I am a teacher and I have always been budget conscious so my plan was to create an elegant and classy wedding that would not break my bank!" This led her to Pinterest, Jessica did almost everything, with the help of family and friends. "We wanted a lake front wedding with an indoor reception and I went with the shabby chic theme" the bride said. The couples wedding weekend kicked off on Thursday with a bridal beer pong tournament, "We made our bridal party shirts and just had a fun night. It was great to relax and give everyone who had never met a chance to get to know one another" Jessica said. The next night was the rehearsal dinner which the couple hosted at their home "it was nice to be so laid back and just enjoy everyone who helped make the wedding successful" the bride rema

All About That Bass

No Treble... Have you seen our new video? We had so much fun with this project! #TeamBombshell discovered this song a few weeks back and we became obsessed with the body positive message. Meghan Trainor, a young, East-coast song-writer released this song in early June and by early July we had begun planning for our video! Our friend Tom at Complete Video Solutions , we were able to bring this fun idea to all of you! Last week Tom and Jeremy came to BSB and spent four hours with us shooting the different scenes and having some laughs.  Thanks to Tom's quick editing he had the video posted to YouTube the next day!  Our video has been up for about a week and we are at almost 6,500 views, for that we thank you!  If you haven't seen the video yet... CHECK IT OUT!!
