#WeddingWednesday

Leah came to Bombshell into knowing exactly what she was looking for "I had been to a few bridal shops prior to your each time trying to explain my need for something flowing and loose, for our beach like reception" Leah said.

At the other stores Leah became frustrated, she said "the consultants at other shops were rude and uncaring and didn't listen to a thing I said. They kept putting me in dress after dress 4 sizes too small and telling me to picture it flowing, expecting me to make one of the most important (not to mention expensive) purchases of my life based on this visual."
"I was 2 months post baby and in a very vulnerable place emotionally and physically. My body wasn't what I was used to, but your consultants made me see it was beautiful nonetheless."
When Leah came into Bombshell she told us what she was looking for and we found her the perfect dress. "Your consultant nailed the dress I had envisioned perfectly. It couldn't have been more perfect!" Leah even added a custom green sash for her March wedding.
When talking details Leah mentioned that their wedding was "very small, our honeymoon was where I wanted to wear my dress and take my pictures that would forever remind us of the most beautiful day of our lives."

Congratulations Leah and John!

Don't invite your entire bridal party, save that for other activities, this is a chance for you to really figure out what you need and want to have at your wedding.  Make a list of the products and service you need most, visit them first.  Ask for a map of the show, you can see where specific vendors are placed and it will help you navigate.  Print out your name, wedding date, and contact info on labels, this saves a lot of time for entries at vendor tables.  ...

I called the shop and asked about my size, when she said "We have that size", I almost cried" she said. The bride and new mom came to the shop she had little less than a month until her wedding. Emily was so worried about finding a gown for her special day. " We picked out 4 dresses an started trying them on, I wasn't feeling like any of them was "The one". My consultant  wasn't rushful or rude about me not liking them. She then went to the back and brought out a dress in blue that could be ordered in white, I LOVED IT!!!!" The gown Emily chose was ready for her wedding and she looked stunning! " The day of my wedding I felt like a million dollars, everyone loved my dress. When I got to my husband at the alter he was in awe, mouth open and all. After the wedding he told me that I took his breath away, that he fell...

12 Things Brides Forget Before Their Wedding Day

BRING EXTRA SHOES! Those gorgeous heels you bought? Yeah, by the time the reception rolls around your feet will be killing you! Bring an extra pair of flats so you can keep dancing and socializing the night away. You’ll thank me later. Decide what to do with the gifts. This is often forgotten during the wedding planning process, but still pretty important thing to remember! Make sure you assign someone to pack up the gifts and tell them where to take them. Especially if you are leaving on your honeymoon that night! You don’t want to decide what to do with them after you have had a few glasses of champagne. ;) Assign someone responsible to take care of the marriage license! Your officiant will take two copies and one is your souvenir. (Yes, you will sign three of them.) Make sure you don’t ask your cousin who has had 4 possibly 6 drinks that night already. A pretty hanger for your wedding dress. Since your dress will be photographed you want to make s...
