#WeddingWednesday Sandie + Robert 7-18-15

Sandie + Robert were married on July 18th, 2015 and what a beautiful day they had! Here is what she had to say about her big day: “We wanted to get married in Detroit.  We looked at many different options that did not fit our vision.  We toured the DNR OAC center before the exhibits set up, but the plans for the DNR OAC were amazing – and it fit our vision. Our wedding was their first wedding; and two days before they opened to the public.  Our guests were able to enjoy the exhibits before and after our ceremony.   I felt great in my wedding gown.  I saw this dress at a bridal show with my fiancĂ©, and was glad to see it at Bombshell Bridal.  Although I tried on many, many dresses – this was my favorite.  The staff was great and the alterations were perfect.   Our reception was so fun!  We celebrated with our friends and family; the DJ wonderfully embraced our music taste; the food was flavorful; the cake was delicious; and the hall staff was pleasant and extremely helpful.

#WeddingWednesday Shannon + Greg 10-18-14

Shannon and Greg’s wedding looked like so much fun! Shannon added some GREAT advice too! Take notes ladies! Here is what she had to say about her big day: “We had a traditional Catholic ceremony at the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel.  This church is absolutely breathtaking.  Our wedding party came into ‘A Thousand Years’, the mothers processional was ‘Ave Maria’ and my wonderful father walked me down to ‘Canon in D’. Our priest, Father Jerry was so fun and loving - we received many compliments on the mass being exciting to listen to. “I thought you looked amazing.  I choked up when I saw you” - Greg, the Groom. My dress was AWESOME.  I’ve never felt better in anything in my entire life.  I loved how I looked, I loved how it photographed and all the compliments I received.  I almost settled for something less perfect to save a few bucks but you’ll never have a day like your wedding day - so SPLURGE!   We had our reception at Gino’s Surf in Harrison Twp

#WeddingWednesday Amanda + Andrew 9-19-2015

Amanda and Andrew's wedding is too ADORABLE for words! You can see the love between them! <3 *Sigh* Here is what she had to say about her big day: "The morning of my wedding, it was raining. I was so nervous that it was going to continue because our ceremony was outside on the back lawn of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial right on the water. When the coordinator came in she asked if we still planned on getting married outside and I still said yes. We got so lucky because it turned out to be a beautiful day, and through the window I could see butterflies flying around. I was escorted down the aisle by my mom, I was trying so hard the whole time not to cry only because I was so happy to walk down the aisle to my best friend and finally put the ring that I had bought him 3 years earlier on his finger. My husband told me that my dress was not what he was expecting, he thought that I was going to have a big poofy dress, but he told me that he loved my dress

One Dress 7 Different Ways!

Say hello to Perla class! Isn’t she a beauty? Perla is a ruched charmeuse gown with a side sweep train. This is the perfect dress to show off dem curves gurl! I played with some our accessories to show you just how custom you can make this dress! AND, OF COURSE I photographed it too, to help you visualize it! Look #1. We’ll start you off with a bang. Here we added some beaded straps, and a super blingy belt. See how different we made the dress look already? Look #2 I added a pearl and bling belt, beaded edge veil, and a pearl necklace. I really love the look of a beaded veil with a simple dress. It helps to frame your face without being too gaudy. Creating a very classic and elegant look. This look is great for girls who want a little bling but don’t want a fully beaded gown. Look #3 I added a statement necklace, straps and fully beaded belt. This look is for the bride who really wants to make a statement. As I'm sure you all know, I am all about
