#WeddingWednesday

Check out this weeks #weddingwednesday bride Karen!  Karen and her husband Todd were married September 27th, 2013 at Canterbury Village, the reception was in the Kings Court Castle. This fun couple's wedding had an awesome fall theme with twist! " My husband likes Vikings and medieval knights, and things like that so we went with a kinda fairy tale theme. The groomsmen didn't wear tuxes, they wore tabards with their personal family crest on them" Karen says. Karen was so excited about her gown "My dress was so beautiful and it went with the theme perfectly! I couldn't have had a better experience picking out a dress than I did at your shop."  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Wilson!  Details Venue: Canterbury Village Cake: Sweet and Savory Bake Shop DJ: Lane O'Neil, Five Star Entertainment

This weeks #WeddingWednesday features Bombshell Bride, Jackie!  Jackie wanted a classic wedding "I love black and white weddings but I wanted a pop of color, so I added hot pink florals and touches like my cake and my candy buffet. I think it was sleek while still being colorful" she said.  Each year for her birthday she throws a themed party, so for her wedding she didn't want to be confined by a certain theme. " I wanted my wedding to not have a gimmick. I wanted a huge focus on family and love...for them, between them, and between my groom and myself" she mentioned. Like most brides she was concerned with staying on budget. She planned her wedding with her Mothers help. She went into detail saying "We made the place cards, seating chart, guest book, favor tags and labels, my veil, my hairpiece, my shoes, my jewelry, my programs, and much more. My mother made my beautiful broach bouquet." Jackie's dress was "Ariel" ...

Leah came to Bombshell into knowing exactly what she was looking for "I had been to a few bridal shops prior to your each time trying to explain my need for something flowing and loose, for our beach like reception" Leah said. At the other stores Leah became frustrated, she said "the consultants at other shops were rude and uncaring and didn't listen to a thing I said. They kept putting me in dress after dress 4 sizes too small and telling me to picture it flowing, expecting me to make one of the most important (not to mention expensive) purchases of my life based on this visual." "I was 2 months post baby and in a very vulnerable place emotionally and physically. My body wasn't what I was used to, but your consultants made me see it was beautiful nonetheless." When Leah came into Bombshell she told us what she was looking for and we found her the perfect dress. "Your consultant nailed the dress I had envisioned perfectly. It couldn...

Stacie shopped early, she came to Bombshell in February 2012 in search of her dress and even found her bridesmaid dresses, "I found a favorite, but because we weren't planning on getting married until August of 2013, we decided the best decision would be to wait to order anything in case any new styles came out. So when I went in December of 2012, to make a final decision, I tried on a handful of dresses, but the last dress t...
