#WeddingWednesday

Leah came to Bombshell into knowing exactly what she was looking for "I had been to a few bridal shops prior to your each time trying to explain my need for something flowing and loose, for our beach like reception" Leah said. At the other stores Leah became frustrated, she said "the consultants at other shops were rude and uncaring and didn't listen to a thing I said. They kept putting me in dress after dress 4 sizes too small and telling me to picture it flowing, expecting me to make one of the most important (not to mention expensive) purchases of my life based on this visual." "I was 2 months post baby and in a very vulnerable place emotionally and physically. My body wasn't what I was used to, but your consultants made me see it was beautiful nonetheless." When Leah came into Bombshell she told us what she was looking for and we found her the perfect dress. "Your consultant nailed the dress I had envisioned perfectly. It couldn...

Videography

Planning a wedding can be extremely expensive, costs you didn't even know existed show up out of nowhere! There are many places to spend your budget, but one cost we believe is most worth it, is hiring a videographer. This is one expense that many brides will cut, however this service is worth the money. After the cake has been cut, the final dance has been performed and the guests have gone home you are left with only pictures and your wonderful memories. Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to rewind time and enjoy your special day all over again? With videography services you can do just that! Your wedding day is the most important day of your life, and you don't want to miss a single thing. Not hiring a videographer is one regret we hear over and over from our brides after their big day. Heard these before? “The day went by so fast!” “I wish I could hear my best friends toast again." “I wish I knew how my husband was feeling before the ceremony. Was he as ...

#WeddingWednesday

We are starting a new trend at Bombshell, #WeddingWednesday! Every Wednesday we will feature one of our stunning brides and all the details of her special day! #WeddingWednesday Meet Stacie (Tocco) Costello, you may have seen her in some pictures from the bridal shows we do. Stacie models for us! Kyran and Stacie had been dating a year when he proposed, "When the ball dropped at midnight Kyran dropped to one knee. I remember feeling SO excited, but slightly anxious almost immediately over finding a wedding dress" Stacie says. Stacie shopped early, she came to Bombshell in February 2012 in search of her dress and even found her bridesmaid dresses, "I found a favorite, but because we weren't planning on getting married until August of 2013, we decided the best decision would be to wait to order anything in case any new styles came out. So when I went in December of 2012, to make a final decision, I tried on a handful of dresses, but the last dress t...

Fit and Fancy

Shopping anxiety when selecting your gown can be frustrating to deal with, we think it's important to break down the shopping experience so you know what to expect! For the next few weeks we will feature tips, tricks, and insight to enhance your appointment! Our first topic? THE FIT! Many of our brides come in for their appointment and ask "What would look good on me?" well, it depends on what look you prefer! To break it down further lets talk about silhouettes and what body type they are best for. The A- Line fit A-line fit typically has a more fitted top and flows in a fuller skirt to the floor. The a-line gets its name because the fit seems to form a capital A. It is also important to know that modified A-line gowns offer the fit of an A-line with the features of other silhouettes! This shape is great for any body type, and is the perfect fit for brides looking to disguise their hips, legs, and bum area. The Ballgown Fit Ballgown ...

Win Your Dream Dress Contest

Have you been following our contest on Facebook?  We offered 12 lucky brides the chance to win their gown with us, they just had to email us a picture of themselves and their fiance along with their story. We ended up with 14 entries instead of 12, because the final 3 entries showed up in our inbox at the exact same minute, so we figured fate wanted 14 instead of 12.  We have had the pictures posted on Facebook for just over a week and the votes have been rolling in. The girls are in the running for: First Place; $2000 towards the purchase of your gown Second Place: $500 towards the purchase of your gown Third Place: $250 towards the purchase of your gown 1 "like" = 1 Vote.
