How To Have A Memorable Wedding

We all know that when planning a wedding you aim to have yours be the best, and most creative one of all. That task always ends up being a difficult one, because that idea that you thought was so unique is all over Pinterest. This day and age with all the bridal magazines and Pinterest you can’t help but be envious of other weddings. Well I’m here to help! My favorite videographers Tom and Jeremy at Complete Video Solutions have the best solution to help make your wedding memorable and DIFFERENT!

Everyone now a days has a photobooth, but do they have a SLOW-MOTION booth?! YEAH TAKE THAT OTHER WEDDINGS! :P

We had one at our wedding and it was so much FUN! My guests really enjoyed it! They have several props and you can dance, throw things, punch people and even throw water at the bride. Yep, that happened.

It was so much fun seeing the videos after we recorded them. They bring a computer monitor so you can see your slow-motion video right after you recorded it! I would keep going up to the screen to check the ones my guests had done. I loved this idea, it was a really cool way to include my guests! It is also great to have another memory from my wedding day, and see all the moments I would have missed!

The best part? They edit it into a montage! And let me tell you, it ends up being WAY COOLER than I would have thought! Tom and Jeremy edit it so it goes forward and rewinds, HOW COOL IS THAT?!

12 Things Brides Forget Before Their Wedding Day

BRING EXTRA SHOES! Those gorgeous heels you bought? Yeah, by the time the reception rolls around your feet will be killing you! Bring an extra pair of flats so you can keep dancing and socializing the night away. You’ll thank me later. Decide what to do with the gifts. This is often forgotten during the wedding planning process, but still pretty important thing to remember! Make sure you assign someone to pack up the gifts and tell them where to take them. Especially if you are leaving on your honeymoon that night! You don’t want to decide what to do with them after you have had a few glasses of champagne. ;) Assign someone responsible to take care of the marriage license! Your officiant will take two copies and one is your souvenir. (Yes, you will sign three of them.) Make sure you don’t ask your cousin who has had 4 possibly 6 drinks that night already. A pretty hanger for your wedding dress. Since your dress will be photographed you want to make s...

#WeddingWednesday Taara + Malcolm 9-5-15

Wait until you see how beautiful Taara is! Their wedding was BEAUTIFUL! See what she had to say about her big day: "Our ceremony took place at Rock of  Ages Christian Ministries.   Our ceremony was short and sweet and only lasted about 20 minutes. My dad walked me down the aisle as my only brother sang to me.  I had my 2 favorite guys share this special moment with me and that meant everything to me. My husband and I exchanged vows and demonstrated us becoming one by taking part in a wine communion ceremony.  Once that was all said and done, we were introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Hatcher. My fiancĂ© thought that I was the most beautiful bride in the world. He absolutely loved my dress. I felt like a princess in my wedding dress. I never in a million years though that I could feel that way ! Being plus size can put a lot of doubt in your mind when it comes to finding that perfect dress for on...

#WeddingWednesday Cori + Steven 10-24-15

Our wedding theme was paper airplanes because of a short film my husband and I fell in love with. We also were never huge fans of flowers being the focal point, so using paper was fun and unique to us. It also made wedding planning easier not having to handle real flowers so we could get things done months in advance.  It was in the fall so we did use mini pumpkins for escort cards, and we drilled wholes in big pumpkins and put changing LED lights in them. We had paper airplanes on our cake, my necklace, and even on our bouquets and boutonnieres! Also instead of a book for people to sign, we made paper airplanes to later put in a big shadow box.  One of the easiest parts of our 15 month wedding planning adventure was finding my dress! I had gone to a previous shop but it was more so to have a better idea as to what I actually liked and flattered me the most. So once I got to Bombshell finding my dress was amazingly simple and quick! I think my dress endin...
